Pan-Oston Ltd., a retail store fixture manufacturer, will benefit from an investment announced today in Peterborough, Ontario by Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation (CFDC) and the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women and Member of Parliament for Peterborough─Kawartha.
The Northumberland CFDC is pleased to support this manufacturer with an investment of $100,000, under the Eastern Ontario Development Program, that will be used to innovate and expand their business. The funding, under the Collaborative Economic Development Projects (CEDP) stream, will result in the creation of up to 35 new full-time positions, which will benefit the communities of Peterborough and Kawartha.
Working with multiple firms across Eastern Ontario, Pan-Oston will lead in the development of an innovative supply chain collaboration that bundles complimentary products and manufacturers in providing a full package solution to both commercial and social sector enterprises.
“This is great news for Pan-Oston, who have been leading the way with innovative and collaborative projects that will have a positive impact right across Eastern Ontario, as well as for Peterborough-Kawartha, which stands to benefit from this business expansion. Our government is deeply committed to growing the economy and supporting manufacturing. It is through initiatives like the Eastern Ontario Development Program that we will continue to work on these important priorities.”- The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women and Member of Parliament for Peterborough─Kawartha
“We applaud Pan-Oston on thinking outside the box on the launch of this innovative product bundle approach.
